The Dove Creek neighborhood had two entrances that did not have much lighting for vehicles and pedestrians. At night, incoming vehicles mainly relied on their headlights when entering and exiting properly to and from the neighborhood. SAT Energy installed two sets of solar LED light fixtures on both of the entrances for Dove Creek so that drivers and residents would be able to better see the gated entrances of the neighborhood. By providing off-grid solar powered light fixtures for the community, Dove Creek was able to receive bright efficient lighting while also not having to pay anything extra in energy costs. The neighborhood also required solar lighting for two of their mailboxes within the subdivision.
