The City of Leon Valley holds an annual 4^th of July Fireworks Festival at the Raymond Rimkus public park. Throughout the festival the City Public Works fences off vast sections of the Park to create security checkpoints for the Leon Valley Police Department to ensure that attendees aren’t bringing in weapons nor any other dangerous items.

SAT Energy provided several different solar LED light fixtures for the City Public Works to use for each security checkpoint to ensure that officers would be able to properly inspect incoming attendees. Once the Fireworks Festival ended, all attendees would be able to see the security checkpoint exits clearly at night thanks to the portable solar LED light fixtures. Not only can our solar lights be used for fully installed locations, they can also be used for portable purposes such as weekend festivals.
