Shaenfield Place has an open space park with a large pavilion, a basketball court, and a playground area. The pavilion was well lit with lighting underneath. However, the playground areas did not have any nearby lighting and was thus completely dark in the night time. 

SAT Energy installed three large 60W Solar LED Light fixtures to illuminate both sides of the playground as a way to deter acts of vandalism within the park. Each solar light fixture powers itself through the solar panel at the top of the fixture and thus does not rely on any outside power source to continuously brighten the park are at night. This allows the Shaenfield Place neighborhood to take advantage of the lighting at night while not worrying about any additional energy costs.
