The HOA community of Woods of Alon wanted to add lighting for their large pond trail park within their community. Previously there was no lighting within the pond trail making it very dark to walk around and use the trail itself at night. Adding electrical lighting throughout the park trail would have also been expensive for the community.
SAT Energy proposed and installed several solar powered LED light fixtures located at strategic spots throughout the park such as intersecting paths. The solar powered LED lights have been placed with light glare shield to focus the lighting downward and not towards any nearby households as to not disturb the privacy of homeowners. The HOA community will be receiving an energy rebate for the use of solar powered lighting which allows them to save completely on their energy costs.
